Thousands of 'No Kings Day' protests are expected to take place across the nation Saturday, with the 'flagship' protest planned for Philadelphia.

Millions of people turned out for "No Kings" protests nationwide on Saturday that were largely peaceful though there were some arrests and police had to disperse unruly crowds, including in Georgia and Los Angeles.

In a city known as the cradle of American democracy, an impassioned, hourslong protest filled the streets for a ‘No Kings Nationwide Day of Defiance.’

Protests are expected across the Pittsburgh area today as part of a nationwide demonstration known as "No Kings." Several gatherings are planned in connection with events in Washington, D.C., and President Trump's birthday.
