Ukraine said on Tuesday that it had hit the bridge connecting Russia and the occupied Crimean Peninsula with explosives planted underwater, in its third attack on the vital supply line for Moscow’s forces since the full-scale war began in 2022.

The Ukrainian intelligence agency stated that these operations aim to impose high costs on Russia for continuing its war against Ukraine.

Ukraine continues to target the Kerch Strait Bridge, a vital Russian supply artery to Crimea, with a reported third major strike on June 3rd by its SBU using a large underwater explosive device, allegedly damaging bridge pillars.
