Property reassessments in Delaware are mostly complete and the window to appeal the values is closed. Municipalities and school districts have pledged to not make any more money off of the tax rolls.

The council also passed a resolution asking state lawmakers to allow Wilmington the authority to impose a local tax on cigarette sales.
